I was worried at first because I heard a few people say that it needs more stuffing. However, I decided to give it a chance. I let it sit and fluff up for about 24 hours before I sat on it.And I got to say, he bean bag is really soft! It can be a bit hard to shape into whatever you want (like a chair, bed, etc). But once it's in your preferred shape, it's the best!It's a bit dusty when you first get it but that goes away after you wash and place the cover. If you have a dust allergy like I do, I wouldn't recommend sitting on it without the cover like I did.I am 5'3 and 170 pounds. I was worried that it couldn't hold my weight, but I feel like I'm sitting on a cloud! My husband is more heavy set and he was able to lay on it for hours without ever getting sore!This is the best purchase I ever made and I'm so glad that I went through it!The zipper was broken and I didn't know how to get it back to the distributor. It came in a very small vacuum sealed bag and in order for me to return it, I’d probably have to find a way to get it re-vacuum sealed.The zipper was broken on the inside where you add the foam and It’s imperative that you add extra foam or this beanbag is pretty flat. It's important that you buy at least a 5lb back of extra foam. Even after 4 days, it was only 2/3 a bean bag.Here's the good news...I contacted the company and they were very receptive. They were continuous in connecting with me and ended up sending a new liner for the bean bag. All is well. Problem solved and my kids love this bean bag.If you look at the color on the Amazon website it’s very red. This particular color is a more a rust color. Perhaps an actual description that describes the color would make more sense. Making up a color name like Cinnabar and then having a picture of a very red bean bag Cover I feel is a little deceptive, Or misleading. The photo doesn’t match the color name. I was very conflicted in purchasing it because I had the assumption that it would be very red or it’s gonna be a rust brown not at all like it looks like on the Amazon website.I love it and my pets love to join me on it! It’s comfy, and envelopes you. After purchase, I did feel it could use some extra stuffing but it was a reasonable addition and helped. It is a bit heavy to move around but if you have a good space for it, you won’t have to worry about it. I didn’t rate a 5 only because the stuffing seems to compress after you get situated. I actually prefer it to the more pricey “pod” I have.Although I did a lot of reading through the many product reviews before purchasing this product, I was lured by the mainly positive ratings and the statements about how happy some users are with this chair.My gut tried to steer me away from purchasing this but unfortunately I took the chance despite some of the negative reviews pointing-out some concerning and recurring issues. Many of those negative reviews turned out to accurately describe aspects of the product I received, but I also found one MAJOR ISSUE (#1) that I did not see in any other review and that I consider to be the worst.This was a birthday present for my teenager and I had the greatest hopes that it would be a hit. I even told her that she will spend most of her free time on/in this chair...Now I am left with having to find a replacement after this present was a complete bust.For what it's worth, here are my issues:#1 - NOT MEMORY FOAM - It seems to be some cheap foam that was ripped into chunks. This is something I did not read in any other reviews and it's the biggest issue for me because I consider it to be false advertising. Memory foam, especially if high-quality, is quite a bit more expensive, heavier, but also more comfortable, so this seems to be an attempt by the manufacturer to cut cost.The particular filling I received springs back immediately after compression (zero memory effect) and is much lighter than I expected after reading review from others. I have no problem lifting this bag up and carrying it around with one hand.No problem if the product description matches the product, but calling this memory foam is FALSE ADVERTISING!#2 - CHUNKS and LUMPS - The foam pieces are too big, some of them around 6 inches. Even after separating the chunks over several days, the chair remains extremely lumpy. Sections within pieces don't have the same consistency either and are partially hard, almost like some sort of crust. All of this in combination makes the chair very lumpy and uncomfortable.#3 - CUSTOMER EFFORT - I could accept the manufacturer expecting the customer to separate foam pieces from each other to expedite expansion, but expecting the customer to rip and tear the individual foam pieces by hand is frankly ridiculous. That should be part of the manufacturing process of the filling. Worst, I was unable to actually get to the filling itself due to a zipper issue (see issue #5) but I probably would have decided against digging inside the bag anyway as that would have just turned into a huge mess.Lastly, ripping these pieces by hand is HARD. I tried for about an hour overall by bunching-up the protective polyester liner but this foam is tough and doing this for the entire chair would be a waste of my time because even 2 inch pieces still felt like little lumps. Think of it as 2 inch cotton balls, only harder. This chair would never be comfortable, even after hours of ripping pieces.#4 - INSUFFICIENT FILLING - Like so many other buyers indicated, there isn't enough filling for the chair to be usable, or at least comfortable. I am 190 pounds and as soon as I drop down, I hit the floor. Combine that with the lumps you feel everywhere, it's just a very bad product compared to what is advertised but also compared to what other happy reviewers seem to have received.Probably needless to say that I also don't appreciate that the manufacturer expects you to purchase more filling separately at an additional cost just to get a product that is actually usable (or looks anywhere near the advertised pictures). This is cost-cutting at the expense of the customers to either increase profits or look more competitive.#5 - ZIPPER ISSUES - The zipper turns out to actually be a double-zipper, which I consider to be a positive. Not sure if I missed that in other reviews or if the manufacturer learned from prior zipper issues and doubled them up to avoid loss of stuffing.However, the inside zipper is broken and does not move. If I had decided to keep this product, I would have cut the inside zipper open to simplify ripping the filling and be able to add more. But based on the other issues I have with this chair, it's not worth the effort.#6 - QUALITY CONTROL - I can't say whether I was particularly unlucky to receive a very low quality product, or whether my expectations in this chair were higher than that of other reviewers. What is very clear is that quality control is very spotty at best, with me having received a product that combined most of the issues that some others experienced as well.#7 - DIFFICULT RETURN - One thing is for sure, unlike some other reviewers that decided not to send this product back because there is no way to fit it back into its original packaging, I will go out of my way to manufacture a box that will work as I have no tolerance for false advertising. Hopefully this will ultimately help others receive a better product that can meet expectations.This is likely the worst review I have ever written on Amazon. I don't do this lightly but hope that others can benefit from my experience and hopefully avoid it for themselves.In hindsight, I should not have taken the risk considering how difficult it will be to return this bag.I welcome any feedback, including comments from the manufacturer!I'm 6 foot and this is easily big enough for me and comfortable. I like the outside material on the bean bag. It's soft and not too warm. The only issue is the material inside always tend to shift when you use it, so the part your butt is in end being far too low. so you gotta shake it up here and there. But still pretty awesome.I bought this chair for my son, and he and I both think it's really comfortable. The only problem with memory foam is after putting weight on it for a while it gets compact and hard. I don't know if I prefer this or a traditional bean bag, but I am definitely satisfied with my purchase, and my son likes his chair, so that's all that really matters to me.Was skeptical but pulled the trigger anyway. Was a struggle rolling at fluffing this heavy ass thing for a week but formed fully as pictured. Passing out in this thing is too easy, I love it. Wouldn’t suggest gaming too long though, your body will get sore.Terrible! An absolutely horrendous smell and I cannot return it. Hard to believe that a company would charge so much for a product that is smelly and unusable. The smell is unbearable and my entire house now smells like this product. Once you remove the product from the package, there is no way that you can get it back in to return it. Insert in the box says 4-5 days. The pictures I attached are of day 1 and day 2. I will probably add more foam depending on how I feel after a week or Soto make it more firm.It’s mainly air, but as you can see it can form a nice arm chair when you sit. I think to get the effect in the photo you may need more foam. 2 people can fit nicely on this.I like this product. Glad I purchased, it’s comfy.
